Twas The Day Before Christmas........

Yes it was the day before Christmas and a beautiful, warm day it was. My dad & son had both made the journey south across the boarder into Baja, California Norte to visit my wife & myself at our home north of Ensanada. With nothing in mind we decided to drive south along the coast towards Ensanada. We stopped at a couple of the lookouts along the way and took in the views of the coast where the desert meets the sea. It's a striking contrast and one that I never seem to grow tired of.

By the time we hit the town of Ensanada we had discovered that my dad, Bob & son Sean had never been to Hussong's!!! Yes I know it's hard to image but it's true, they had never visited one of the most famous bars in the world. So it was obvious to my wife & myself Hussong's was a must do. Just in case you didn't know, Hussong's is the bar where the margarita was invented and goes back to the 1890's.

So here are a few picks of Hussong's and us holding down the end of the bar.























Now you will no doubt notice right off the bat that Hussong's has learned a lesson that many establishments in Mexico have not yet learned...........

How I Spent 29 Minutes Yesterday

The sun is setting earlier & earlier each evening here in Baja California. We get some great sunsets and last nights (Dec. 20th) looked like it might be a good one so I got out the camera and snapped a few frames. Thought I'd share them with you, my friend.
